Culottes

Standard
Camel is a color that is very trendy this fall and these camel-colored wool culottes from Sacai Luck are right on trend. You can’t miss the culottes this season, they’re everywhere. And they’re fabulous! Originally culottes were worn by upper-class men in Europe from the middle ages to the early nineteenth century. From mid to late nineteenth century the culotte evolved into a pant that looked like a skirt, the idea was to make it more comfortable for women to ride a horse. Now they could sit astride a man’s saddle and skip the side-saddle that was both uncomfortable and dangerous. A culotte hangs like a skirt but is a pant, so it was actually intended to camouflage the fact that women wore pants. How about that!Crazy about chocolate
