Wardrobe classics

Every wardrobe needs the classic staples. I am all in favour of a good bargain but when it comes to the staples, I find it best to invest. If you go for quality the items can serve you for years. What are your wardrobe basics? My list of basics includes a white button down shirt, a pair of pumps, a pencil skirt, an envelope clutch. But also a turtleneck sweater, a blazer, ankle boots, a pair of jeans, an oversized bag, and probably a bunch of other stuff I fail to mention. As for good basic colors I would choose black, navy and grey.Wardrobe classics

Here comes the fun

Since I urged everyone to have a colorful weekend I have to continue the theme myself.
And I don’t mind, all though I love black and white, and all shades of brown I also love color. And this season my favorite is yellow.
The bright yellow top in neoprene is from Alexander Wang, as is the shorts.
Flats from Schutz and shoulder bag from Chloe.
Elton John is in town but sadly I didn’t get tickets. The dude has been around for decades so it would’ve been so cool to see him live. And I would’ve made sure to wear something colorful, and some crazy sunglasses off course. Here comes the fun

City girl

Brown is a color that goes with everything and it’s a color I love.
My fave combination is brown and blue, but in this set I’ve paired it with black and white.
A killer combo if you ask me.
Suede is still trendy and this suede crop top is from Yoins.
Love the lace-up effect.
A patchwork of suede and leather combine to make this super edgy skirt!
Love the zip closure and belt buckle detail. The skirt from Alexander Wang is on top of my wish list this season.
Ankle strap sandals are super trendy and these are crafted in a patchwork of black, white and brown suede. Signed Gianvito Rossi.
Color block shoulder bag from Accessorize.
In this outfit you’ll be sure to turn some heads !

Floral Jeans

Today the weather has been strange, one minute the sun is up and the next it’s pouring rain. So to be on the safe side it’s best to put on some jeans. But it’s still summer so to cheer myself up I’ve picked out a pair of summery jeans with a pop of bright yellow. And to make it even more fun I added a bright yellow blazer. If the sun ain’t shining I’m sure going to.Floral Jeans

Mustard coat

The winter coat is a staple in any wardrobe and with winter just around the corner it’s time to find that perfect coat to take you through the winter season. Going forward most my sets will feature a coat or some sort of outerwear. The ground is covered in frost today so it’s a great day to start and I’m starting with mustard coats. And again, I’m playing with a set featuring nothing but clothes, well I had to add a little shadow here and there, but still. I’m pleased with this set. This boucle wool blend cocoon coat is from Mango. It’s affordable and I love this minimalistic silhouette. With all the huge scarfs on the marked this season it doesn’t really matter that the coat is collarless. Crew neck sweater from Steffen Schraut, pencil skirt by Oscar de la Renta, mid-calf boots from Gianvito Rossi and a saddle bag from Alexander Wang.No fuzz
