Today the weather is amazing.  But no matter how much sunshine we get we all know it’s no longer summer. The air is crisp at night and you can feel that fall feeling.
But walking in the sun and staying clear of the shade, you can still show a little leg.
This time of year I follow a rule when getting dressed. If I wear a skirt or dress, I pair it with long sleeves and if I wear a sleeveless top I pair it with pants. It seems more appropriate for early fall and it also keeps me warmer.
Pinstripes are very trendy this fall, as is navy blue so this skort is right on trend.
The flared sleeves and lace-up sides on this top hints to the 70s, a decade that has been trendy for a while now and continues its fashionable streak into fall.tres chic

Summer dress

Fall is my favourite season and I love the fashion statements popping up as summer turns into fall.
It’s not easy to figure out what to wear when the weather is neither warm or cold, or some days it’s both.
I like to try my best to have my favourite summer pieces last me a little bit longer. When you find that perfect summer dress you really don’t want to let it go just yet.
So why not find alternative ways to wear it as weather turns colder.
Wear it with knee-high boots to keep your legs warm, or wear a pair of leggings underneath if you wish.
Add a chunky knitted sweater and just like that you end up with a warm and super cool outfit.Summer dress

Summer to fall

Make your summer dress last longer by adding a cape or poncho.
Wear it with high boots or leggings.
This season an unexpected trend made its appearance, one that up til now had been a big no-no. I’m talking about socks in sandals. Now it’s the trendy choice, and yet another way to transition your summer dress into fall. Wear it with socks and loafers for a laid back style.

Smell the coffee

Today I’m going to our cabin by the sea where we’ll be celebrating my stepdad’s mom’s birthday. We’ll be a bunch of people and it’ll be like a garden party that later moves down by the sea-shore.
This outfit would fit the occasion perfectly, apart from the heels.
You might want to pick something else if you tend to walk on grass a lot.
But the rest of it is perfect for a garden party.
Mesh maxi skirt from Chicwish, organza bow blouse from John Lewis, shoulder bag from Victoria Beckham, straw hat from Eugenia Kim and gladiator sandals from Gianvito Rossi.Smell the coffee
