Head over heels

I came across this blogger on lookbook and I love her take on the red, white and blue look. It’s casual yet classy.
Not everyone manages to balance this color combo well and end up looking more like a flag instead of chic and trendy.
I’m not familiar with the blogger but as far as I’ve come to find out her blog is DC by Edisa Shahini and can be found at disicouture.com .
Navy is a trendy replacement for black, it’s dark yet not as hard as black can be and especially if you have a light complexion.
This look is chic from head to heel.

Warm coat

Today’s topic; Long coat.
At the moment I don’t really need a coat as the weather has made a complete turnaround. It’s beginning to look a lot like spring! No snow left either. I’m getting annoyed! We need to wake up and realize that in order to save the world we have to give up some of our comforts in life. Growing up winter always arrived in november, and the season was long, cold and with lots of snow. The past few years we’ve had very little snow. It’s not normal. I want my snowy winters back. Some people like the fact that it’s warmer but if they knew all the consequences I’m sure they’d feel differently. Anyways, I still have my hopes up that this Christmas will be white. This long coat is from Karl Lagerfeld.

Today – Tweed Pants.
The male inspired grey wide-leg tweed pant is having a comeback. I love that the heavier fabrics, like wool and tweed, are back in style. Fashionistas are everywhere, and also in the colder corner’s of the world. And they want the option to both be stylish and warm during the cold season. In recent years there’s been a wide selection of coats available and I’m happy to see the trend continue. Moving forward, most my posts will include a coat or some sort of outerwear, after all winter has arrived. This time of year pants are essential, you can’t leave home without them. Not if you’re spending time outside. You can wear leggings underneath a skirt but when it’s freezing you need leggings underneath your pants. I don’t know about you, but I’m getting a pair of tweed this winter.Coffee & cake

I heart

A hot color this fall is oxblood! And I have no problem understanding why it’s so popular. It’s a perfect color for fall, warm and inviting. Style it with white to enhance it even more. Fascinating maxi skirt from Oscar de la Renta, fitted blouse from Morgan, pre-owned sandals from Derek Lam and clutch from Fendi.I heart

Fall truly is fabulous! Just look at these beautiful images below. Amazing! And again, blue and rust are a match made in heaven. Blue cashmere turtleneck from Diane Von Furstenberg, colorblock coat from Romwe, rust colored trousers from Derek Lam, scarf from Hinge, suede boots from Sergio Rossi, saddle bag from Tory Burch and a Pistil beanie.Autumn

Wonderful day

Final rainy set today and it actually stopped raining too. Instead it’s gotten colder and I suspect we might get frost this coming night. Down one more degree and we’re below zero (celsius). Brrr. Tweed trousers from Derek Lam, zebra print shirt from Emilio Pucci, duster coat from Oasis, flap bag from Michael Kors, umbrella from Lexon and rain boots from Ilse Jacobsen.Wonderful day
