Fabulous for fall

Yesterday I talked about prolonging the life of your favorite summer dress by wearing a sweater on top. Today I’m suggesting to wear it underneath. It’s totally possible if you have a sleeveless dress. Add a scarf for and you’re good to go.
Checks are super trendy this coming season so this dress deserves to see the light of fall.Fabulous for fall

Pretty preppy

Plaids are a recurring theme for fall and this fall they come in all shades and sizes.
I like the preppy take on the trend. The wrap effect is another trend this fall and with added fringes this skirt from Rumour London is right on trend.
Top from Isabel Marant, tote from Pierre Hardy and heels from Office.

Black and white

Today I’m going back to black and white, a color combo that never goes out of style.
The striped shorts from NewLook costs next to nothing, yet it’s stylish and trendy.
Stripes on stripes are absolutely on trend and I love the flats from Isabel Marant, featuring a trendy bow.

The season of romance

We’re seeing several trends this season that appeals to our romantic side.
From feminine ruffles to romantic floral maxi dresses.
Romantic puffy sleeves and lace hinting of centuries long gone, a time with heroic knights and pretty maidens. Appearing to be a lot more romantic than it ever was.
But the clothes were spectacular. Comfort was not key, but today’s take on the Victorian era are a lot more wearable.
I love the high neckline and the row of satin-covered buttons on this Hillier Bartley blouse.
This summer we’re in love with super long and wide sleeves, voluminous frills and exaggerated ruffles.
In this set I wanted to tone it down a bit and show that a Victorian piece doesn’t have to be loud.
I styled the top with a wrap skirt with on-trend waist ties, signed Isabel Marant.
While the top and sandals are cute and feminine, the skirt and bag adds a modern and more edgy touch to the look.
