Pretty preppy

Plaids are a recurring theme for fall and this fall they come in all shades and sizes.
I like the preppy take on the trend. The wrap effect is another trend this fall and with added fringes this skirt from Rumour London is right on trend.
Top from Isabel Marant, tote from Pierre Hardy and heels from Office.

Floral elegance

From what I understand it’s Father’s day in some parts of the world, so Happy Father’s day to all the different kinds of fathers out there.
We celebrate Father’s day in november, and Mother’s day in february.
Since this is a special occasion it’s a great opportunity to post this awesome set featuring this amazing dress from Emanuel Ungaro.
If I ever end up in a dress like this, I must have won the lottery!
Let’s hope!!

Floral Jeans

Today the weather has been strange, one minute the sun is up and the next it’s pouring rain. So to be on the safe side it’s best to put on some jeans. But it’s still summer so to cheer myself up I’ve picked out a pair of summery jeans with a pop of bright yellow. And to make it even more fun I added a bright yellow blazer. If the sun ain’t shining I’m sure going to.Floral Jeans

Cause & effect

It’s time for some orange, a  color often used during fall. It’s warm and inviting, just what we need when temperatures drop. In not long all the orange details in my home will be put away to make room for advent, and the color of advent is purple. But when it comes to my wardrobe, orange is going nowhere. After all it was announced color of the year, in my part of the world anyways. Jumper from TopShop, pants from A.F Vandervorst, pumps from Office and tote from Max Mara. Cause & effect

Second and final post featuring bright-colored pants. I have to say I love the colors in this set. Very appropriate for fall. I find these colors to be warm and inviting, like a hug. Philosophy di Lorenzo Serafini wool pullover in a boxy style, lapel double-breasted edge pockets coat from Romwe, Yves Saint Laurent vintage wide leg trousers, pumps from Office and Sophie Hulme suede bucket bag.Colorful

Get the Look – Sarah Jessica Parker

Today my second ‘get the look’ post features Sarah Jessica Parker. Few has been copied as much as this girl, both as Carrie Bradshaw and as herself.
And with good reason, Sarah Jessica’s got style!
The girl knows how to dress, and what a dream it would be to get a peek in her closet. It’s probably a walk-in, I’m sure of it.
In this set Sarah Jessica is wearing a sequined zebra dress from Blumarine, a white blazer from Stella McCartney and killer heels from Nicholas Kirkwood.
While I picked out a zebra print dress from Michael Kors, blazer from The Row, and heels by Office. And like Sarah Jessica I’ve picked out golden accessories to go with the look. Copy Cat

Swim suit

The weather is fabulous!! Fabulous!
Right now it’s afternoon and it’s 19.5 degrees Celsius (67.1 Fahrenheit).
In our tiny garden and on the porch, it gets really hot.
Last summer our outdoor fan broke so I need to get hold of a new one, but these things quickly sell out when the temperature rises.
If I’m going to sit outside I need a cool breeze.
Beaches are crowded so that’s no option for me.
But if I was going swimming I would choose a one-piece swim suit.
Bikinis are fine for tanning but I would never go swimming in one.
I don’t trust the top to stay in place:)
I love the embellished cover up in this set, it’s from Miss Selfridge and it is stunning!
Outside our apartment we have a bunch of hills, if I can get on top of one of those I’ll get the breeze I’m looking for.
I need to grab a fashion magazine, a picnic blanket and go for the top.
The hills are alive….hope I don’t run into a moose or deer though.
