Get social

I’m going downtown to do some shopping with my mom and my daughter.
And this is a perfect outfit for the occasion.
Brown and white are a great color combination and I love this skirt from Nina Ricci.
Suedette cami top from Glamorous and pre-owned sandals from Prada.
Those sandals are to die for, love ’em!
The Clare V clutches are amongst my favourites, this one has a black and white center stripe.
The floppy hat is from Helen Kaminski.
Happy monday shopping!

Day to night

Again with the dungarees!
I like to spend a bit of time on lookbook, where I found this Polish girl.
She is rocking her dungarees as well as the very popular puffy sleeves.
It’s all about sleeves this season, long sleeves, puffy sleeves, trumpet sleeves, the bigger the better.
To take an outfit from day to night all you really need is to simply change-up the shoes and bag, and maybe add a little bling for the night look.
If you want to see more from this fashionista from Poland you can visit her lookbook here and her blog here.Day to night

Cute cardigan

Final cardigan today. And this post is more like a rant. I went to a meeting this afternoon regarding my home and its future. And even though things are done to make it better it just doesn’t always turn out that way. One suggestion was to actually remove most of my garden. I live and breathe for that garden so I’m super pissed and angry as f. While everyone else seemed stoked about it, but I live in a co-op and we’re only 12 that’s lucky enough to have a garden. I’ve lived here for over 20 years and I am not keen on change, so I have my fingers crossed this suggestion never leaves the drawing board. And the few changes that are already in place will be for no reason at all as they will be scrapped in the new project, that’s money out the window and I can never endorse that! Oh well, I’m going to soak into my cardigan and feel sorry for myself for a bit.Cute cardigan

Baby’s got the blues

Third and final dress today. I wanted to make a set with items that resembles patchwork, without being patchwork. And I picked this lovely blue-toned dress from Lela Rose and colorblock tote from Tory Burch. This coming fall we’ll be seeing a lot of patchwork on the streets, as it’s one of the trends for fall. But I prefer this print before the real thing any day!
I’m off to bed, tomorrow I’ll be doing three posts about the pencil skirt, all very different skirts besides being pencil skirts. Goodnight everyone!Baby's got the blues
