Today’s topic; Big scarfs.
Today it’s all about big scarfs but it’s also another tribute to the sweater dress. Both posts today features a sweater dress, high boots and scarfs. In this grey outfit a bright-colored scarf plays the main role. A pop of color always makes the point. And I love the handbag! The tartan tote is from Vivienne Westwood. It’s important to stay warm and with this season’s big chunky scarfs it shouldn’t be a problem.
Halloween is coming to an end and like last year we had no kids knocking on our door. It’s a bit sad to be honest, but on the other hand we get all the candy to ourselves. Hope everyone had a fantastic day. And if your day is just beginning, Happy Halloween! Underneath is an example on how to dress up in a very simple way, using items you probably already have.
Yesterday did not exactly go as planned. I promised to post one more color block set but I ran out of time. So it’ll be posted at a later time. Today it’s all about denim. And I have just a few more hours left of the day and three posts to squeeze in.
With this set I actually won a group contest at Polyvore.
It’s always fun to win even if it brings nothing but fame and glory:)
The task for this contest was to style this lovely top from Vivienne Westwood.
I styled it with a floral pair of leggings from H&M, and a rose tailored jacket from Stella McCartney.
Metallic pumps from Carvela by Kurt Geiger and a leather flag clutch from Jil Sander.
I like it when people mix designer items with cheaper items from chain stores.
Recently there was a celeb gala here and while some came wearing Gucci some came in H&M, and I thought it was amazing!
They did get attention for doing so, but not in a bad way.
It’s possible to look like a million bucks wearing reasonable priced clothing!
